Class Update & Exciting Changes

Hey, witchy poos!

 

I have an important update for everyone currently enrolled in classes. Effective immediately, I am moving our courses to a new platform. This transition will affect live classes over the next two weeks, so please watch your email for updates about your specific classes and instructions for accessing them.

 

There are two main reasons for this move: the rising costs of zoom and the safety and security of my student's information.

 

Between the rising cost of Zoom, and the cost of storing our recorded courses, has made it necessary to find a better home for our growing collection of classes. It just isn't feasible for us to continue utilizing Zoom for classes.

 

Just as importantly, I have been working to find a better way to protect your names, your enrollment information, and your access to the classes you have purchased. There are unscrupulous peoples out there who are screen recording courses (yes, I have a copyright attorney) and taking note of those in the courses.

 

After looking at how to address those concerns, moving our courses to a platform better suited to managing student access is the step that needs to happen.

 

My goal is to make our classroom easier to manage and give you a more organized place to access your lessons, while keeping student privacy at the center of that process.

 

AND - this new platform means classes will be lower cost going forward!

 

Please keep an eye out for updated class details and access instructions during these next two weeks.

 

I will send out an update this upcoming weekend as I migrate courses over to the new platform and I will have an updated schedule for you.

 

Thank you for your patience while I get everything moved and settled. I know there have already been changes to navigate, and I appreciate you sticking with me more than you know. Your time, your trust, and the investment you have made in learning with me matter.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

The Blue Bodhi's goal is to provide the highest quality services for everyone. No shows, late arrivals and cancellations are all a necessary evil in today's world. If you know that you will be late or cannot make your appointment, please let us know immediately so Bodhi isn't waiting on an appointment and so your appointment can be given to someone on our waiting list.

No shows are subject to losing your deposit and/or appointment fee. We reserve the right to refuse rescheduling if there have been no show appointments with no communication.

​

Late arrivals within 10 minutes of the appointment time will be able to keep an appointment if the appointment is an hour long. For appointments that are only 30 minutes, 10 minutes late can cause issues with the reading and/or service. If you are 15 minutes late, the appointment must be rescheduled.

CANCELATION POLICY & FEE SCHEDULE FOR  RETREATS

There are no refunds if you cancel within 2 weeks of the start of the retreat. Deposits and payments cannot be transferred to another retreat or another person. If a refund is due, we will refund the credit card used to pay for the retreat.

If you need to cancel a residential retreat, please let us know as soon as possible by sending a message to the site.

The Blue Bodhi books up weeks in advance and there is a waiting list. Cancellations are only accepted 48 hours in advance so your appointment can be given to someone on our waiting list. Cancellations are not subject to a return of fees. Cancellations before 48 hours in advance can be rescheduled with no further fees or deposits.

 

We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to the service, classes and more without notice and liability for any reason, including if in our sole determination you violate any provision of these terms or any applicable law or regulations. You may discontinue use and request to cancel your account and/or services at any time. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the foregoing, with respect to automatically-renewed subscriptions to paid services, such subscriptions will be discontinued only upon the expiration of the respective period for which you have already made payment.

 

You agree to indemnify and hold The Blue Bodhi, LLC harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys' fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any service of the services offered on the website.

 

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall The Blue Bodhi, LLC be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service.
