MAQLÝSIS™

The Art and Discipline of Magical Unmaking

 

A unique new system of magic created and developed by The Blue Bodhi after decades operating in occult, spiritulism, and witchcraft circles.

 

Maqlýsis is a structured system of counter-magic developed by The Blue Bodhi for the study, identification, dismantling, neutralization, reversal, purification, and removal of unwanted magical and spiritual workings.

The word Maqlýsis identifies the specific system, curriculum, terminology, methodology, and body of instruction developed and taught by The Blue Bodhi.

​

At its heart, Maqlýsis is the study of unmaking.

Not simply protection.

Not simply cleansing.

Not simply returning energy to its source.

​

Maqlýsis examines what happens when a magical construction already exists and the practitioner must understand how it was built before determining how it should be taken apart.

​

The discipline brings together historical concepts of apotropaic magic, uncrossing, purification, exorcistic practice, ritual reversal, curse-breaking, unbinding, spirit work, folk magic, sympathetic magic, and magical defense within an original structured system of study.

What Is Maqlýsis?

Most magical education spends considerable time teaching practitioners how to construct workings.

​

Maqlýsis begins at the opposite end of the equation:

How do you dismantle one?

A knot can be untied.

A petition can be revoked.

A link can be severed.

A spiritual pathway can be closed.

A magical structure can be disassembled.

But indiscriminately throwing cleansing, banishing, reversal, and protection work at a suspected magical problem can obscure what is actually happening.

​

Maqlýsis therefore teaches students to approach counter-magic diagnostically.

​

Identify. Understand. Isolate. Dismantle. Clear. Repair. Protect.

​

The practitioner learns to examine the anatomy of a working rather than merely reacting to its perceived effects.

​

The Maqlýsis Method

Within this system, magical interference is approached as a structure composed of identifiable elements.

Students learn to investigate questions such as:

What appears to have been constructed?

What is sustaining it?

Where is it anchored?

What sympathetic links may be involved?

Is the working active, residual, self-perpetuating, environmental, ancestral, psychological, spiritual, or mundane?

Does anything actually need to be removed?

What happens if the practitioner dismantles the wrong component?

And perhaps most importantly:

How do we distinguish evidence of a magical working from fear, assumption, coincidence, interpersonal conflict, or ordinary life circumstances?

Discernment is therefore foundational to Maqlýsis.

​

The goal is not to convince students that everything going wrong in their lives is magical attack. Quite the opposite.

​

A practitioner of Maqlýsis must learn when not to perform counter-magic.

​

That philosophy extends throughout Maqlýsis:

Do not destroy what you have not first attempted to understand.

Unmaking is not brute force.

It is precision.

Developed by The Blue Bodhi as an extension of the Maqlýsis™ system of magical unmaking, this exclusive collection of handcrafted ritual products brings the principles of counter-magic into practical application.

​

From uncrossing and unbinding to reversal, purification, demolition wards, and spiritual restoration, each formula is created with a specific magical purpose: to identify, dismantle, redirect, or neutralize unwanted influences while supporting the restoration of personal sovereignty and energetic boundaries.

The Maqlýsis™ Collection includes specialized ritual oils, herbal baths, threshold powders, spellcaster jars, ritual teas, and other formulations designed to complement the discipline's teachings.

Maqlýsis is my original organization, terminology, curriculum, teaching structure, written material, exercises, classifications, instructional methods, and presentation of these subjects as a unified discipline of magical unmaking.

I developed Maqlýsis through decades of magical practice, study, teaching, experimentation, observation, and work within folk and esoteric traditions.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

The Blue Bodhi's goal is to provide the highest quality services for everyone. No shows, late arrivals and cancellations are all a necessary evil in today's world. If you know that you will be late or cannot make your appointment, please let us know immediately so Bodhi isn't waiting on an appointment and so your appointment can be given to someone on our waiting list.

No shows are subject to losing your deposit and/or appointment fee. We reserve the right to refuse rescheduling if there have been no show appointments with no communication.

​

Late arrivals within 10 minutes of the appointment time will be able to keep an appointment if the appointment is an hour long. For appointments that are only 30 minutes, 10 minutes late can cause issues with the reading and/or service. If you are 15 minutes late, the appointment must be rescheduled.

​

CANCELATION POLICY & FEE SCHEDULE FOR  RETREATS

There are no refunds if you cancel within 2 weeks of the start of the retreat. Deposits and payments cannot be transferred to another retreat or another person. If a refund is due, we will refund the credit card used to pay for the retreat.

If you need to cancel a residential retreat, please let us know as soon as possible by sending a message to the site.

The Blue Bodhi books up weeks in advance and there is a waiting list. Cancellations are only accepted 48 hours in advance so your appointment can be given to someone on our waiting list. Cancellations are not subject to a return of fees. Cancellations before 48 hours in advance can be rescheduled with no further fees or deposits.

 

We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to the service, classes and more without notice and liability for any reason, including if in our sole determination you violate any provision of these terms or any applicable law or regulations. You may discontinue use and request to cancel your account and/or services at any time. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the foregoing, with respect to automatically-renewed subscriptions to paid services, such subscriptions will be discontinued only upon the expiration of the respective period for which you have already made payment.

 

You agree to indemnify and hold The Blue Bodhi, LLC harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys' fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any service of the services offered on the website.
