Yellow and Purple Fluorite

Yellow and Purple Fluorite Identification Card

AKA Names: Fluorspar.

Locations Found: Fluorite is found worldwide, but significant deposits occur in Germany, England, China, Argentina, and the USA.

Appearance: Purple Fluorite typically has a rich, royal purple color, often with bands of other colors. Yellow Fluorite ranges from bright lemon yellow to a rich golden honey color. Both types often occur in cubic or octahedral crystals and are often banded in layers or "zones".

- Mind: Fluorite is known as a "stone of discernment and aptitude" that encourages positivity, balances energies, and improves balance and coordination, both physically and mentally.

- Body: Yellow Fluorite is believed to help detoxify the body, improve the functions of the liver, and boost the immune system. Purple Fluorite is said to promote a state of health and well-being, enhancing the strength of other stones and increasing our power of concentration.

- Spirit: Spiritually, Purple Fluorite enhances the third eye and imparts a sense of justice, while Yellow Fluorite connects us to the unity of nature.

Weaknesses: While Fluorite is a beautiful stone, it's relatively soft and can get scratched easily. It can also fade or change colors upon prolonged exposure to light.

Complementary Stones: Clear Quartz for amplifying its energies; Rose Quartz for enhancing love energy; Black Tourmaline for protection; and Amethyst for spiritual growth.

Fun Facts:

1. Ancient Egyptians used Fluorite in statues and to carve scarabs, while the Chinese have used it in carvings for over 300 years.

2. The word Fluorite comes from the Latin "fluere," meaning "to flow," because it melts easily.

Spiritual Connections: Yellow Fluorite is associated with unity and intellectual development, and Purple Fluorite is associated with mystical insight, spiritual balance, and deep peace.
