AKA Names: Black Ochre.

Locations Found: Shungite is exclusively found in the Karelia region of Russia, near the village of Shunga, from which it gets its name.

Appearance: Shungite is a black, lustrous, non-crystalline mineraloid consisting of more than 98 weight percent of carbon. It's notable for the natural presence of fullerenes, a form of carbon.


- Mind: Shungite is known to absorb and eliminate anything hazardous to human life. It's often used for relieving stress, easing anxiety, and restoring emotional balance.

- Body: It's believed that Shungite has healing properties that boost physical well-being, with benefits ranging from detoxification to alleviating aches and pains.
